Theorists

Kohlberg’s theory of moral development outlines how individuals progress through six stages of moral reasoning, grouped into three levels: preconventional, conventional, and postconventional. At each level, people make moral decisions based on different factors, such as avoiding punishment, following laws, or following universal ethical principles.
