Instead of touristy square composition I framed this series of photos to hopefully capture some mood. These are photos I took at and around Independence Hall where our countryman signed the Declaration of Independence located in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.

Independence Hall is a historic building located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, that was built in the mid-18th century in the Georgian architectural style. It played a significant role in the founding of the United States by serving as the meeting place for the Second Continental Congress from 1775 to 1783, where they declared independence from Great Britain and drafted the US Constitution. It also witnessed the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, and later served as the meeting place for the Constitutional Convention in 1787. Independence Hall is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a symbol of the country's founding principles of liberty, democracy, and individual rights. - The statue in front of Independence Hall in Philadelphia depicts John Barry, a naval officer and a hero of the American Revolution. It was created by artist John J. Boyle in 1907 and unveiled in 1908 to commemorate Barry's contributions to the United States Navy. Barry is depicted in his naval uniform, holding a telescope, and standing atop a pedestal with four allegorical figures representing the virtues of valor, unity, patriotism, and courage. The statue is considered one of the finest examples of public sculpture in Philadelphia and is a popular attraction for tourists visiting Independence Hall.
