These are both options for a 1x1 Rib, alternating 1 knit and 1 purl stitch, but they end up with different properties and a different look. They’re both tidy, but just have a different look to them. This is a half twisted ribbing, and it stays stretchy because of that untwisted column. My stitches are all mounted with right leg in front (western style), so I twist stitches by knitting or purling through the back loop. On side A, I’m working my knit stitches through the back loop to twist, and on side B, I’m working my purl stitches through the back loop to twis Twisted Rib Stitch, Knit Ribbing, Provisional Cast On, Pick Stitch, Beautiful Crafts, Purl Stitch, Knit Stitches, Easter Crafts Diy, English Style
