The sailing journey from Tahiti to Moorea with our new crew (our adult children, William & Kayla) went by pretty fast. It was about a five hour journey and the wind and seas were favorable, which was a pleasant change. It is an amazing view, with giant green mountains jutting from the water and reaching for the clouds, as well as the reef cascading a multitude of blue hues throughout, depending where your eyes landed upon the corals.
moorea has all the coral and all the fish! And the Hilton Moorea has the coolest bar that sits over it all! Don't miss out!
Our favorite part about staying at a luxury overwater bungalow? We were able to do this for FREE. During our two month stay in French Polynesia, we had the opportunity to stay in an overwater bungalow at the Sofitel Kia Ora on Moorea. We loved our luxury overwater bungalow at the Sofitel. We enjoyed snorkeling right off our deck, eating delicious room service, and indulging in all the amenities that Sofitel Moorea offers. #moorea #overwaterbungalow #frenchpolynesia
