I bought 2 of the @ikeauk Fniss waste bins at £1.50 each to make my water feature.

I glued them together and then primed them - make sure you use an outdoor plastic primer.

I then used an outdoor paint, again suitable for painting plastic.

I had some outdoor paint tester pots in the garage so i mixed 2 different colours with baking powder (i would normally use bicarbonate of soda) but had none, to create a texture on the pots. I applied it with a sponge.

Finally i used some old plastic plant pots to fill the water feature, topped them with large white pebbles (wash these first or your water will go a milky colour) then i added the water and a solar water fountain.
