The leaves require no water because they get all that they need from the mother leaf to create those babies. My leaves still need more time to grow. The hardest part about growing succulents is that they do require significant light to grow tight and uniform. The beauty of succulents is that they are VERY forgiving though! You can propagate their leaves on their own, you can chop and it’ll grow more plants from the cut, and you can repot the portion you cut into it’s own individual pot. If your succulent is etiolated, long term your plant will continue to grow leggy, looking pale and weak so it’s better to change its conditions. If you found this useful, consider following!
