Today I get to share with you a new book with a really nifty way to make double sided quilted hexagons.

Jenny Doan is joined by her daughter Natalie and her daughter-in-law Misty as she demonstrates how to make a beautiful quilt-as-you-go hexie quilt. This technique comes from Nicola of Daisy and Grace. Nicola's wonderful set of templates is the perfect tool to whip up gorgeous quilted hexagons the easy way!

While I was in Alabama over the winter, one of the ladies in the RV park showed us her Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt. It was wonderful! She explained that the pattern had been published back in the 70's in Better Homes and Gardens magazine. She showed us how it was made which is really relatively easy.
