Quilts with butterflies

This new Butterfly pattern, "Caroline" is now available. This Crab pattern, "Jimmy" has been very popular. We have had many requests to do this same technique with different objects. Somehow we got busy with other things and that idea got put on a back burner. Then, a teacher that my daughter, Faith, is very close with got pregnant with her first child. Try making some of these butterfly quilt patterns to brighten the days until it is warm enough for the real ones to be fluttering about outside! You can choose bright, bold colors and mix and match the fabrics you use. Or, go with subtle and soft pastel shades if that’s more your style.

I never thought I would be posting about this quilt being finished so soon. There is a lot going on with my family and some very close friends, and I've needed to escape to my Hidey Hole to recharge, so I've had some very concentrated sewing time. Today is a big day in these parts! New pattern, new bundles, and kits too! So exciting. The pattern is called Mariposas (butterflies in Spanish) and it's a fast and easy sew, made with fat quarters and a bit of yardage.
