Robert Burns was a Scottish poet and lyricist widely regarded as Scotland's national poet. He was born on January 25, 1759, and died on July 21, 1796, at the age of 37. Also known as Robbie or “Rabbie” Burns, he is best known for his poem "Auld Lang Syne," which is often sung to celebrate the new year. Toronto's monument to Robert Burns is in Allan Gardens on the Sherbourne St side. The bronze statue was created by sculptor David W Stevenson of Edinburgh, Scotland and unveiled in 1902.

Happy Burns Night!  When Robert Burns wrote this line  it was like lots of his poetry  highlighting the absurdity of class pretension but I read it now and it speaks to me about imposter syndrome.
