Every now and then, we all need some lighthearted content to lift us up. In a world ruled by media overload and an abundance of bad daily news, it’s easy to feel mentally drained.

Just when you think you have the internet all nicely figured out, you accidentally stumble on something that turns everything upside down, takes you on a rollercoaster ride, and leaves you dazed, confused, yet fully entertained.

There's a Facebook page called Important Animal Images and it's glorious. As the name suggests, it's all about pictures every animal lover just has to see. Like a dog coming out of a mud puddle looking like a hippo. Or a frog peeking out from inside a sink. You know, the essentials.
