Um, our ancestors were weird, y'all. Maybe we're just missing some context that would make these bizarre Victorian Christmas cards make sense?

Gold accents on the front. There's a light horizontal bump/bend about 1 1/2" from the top of the card. GOOD - may have a light crease or 2, very lightly darkened areas, signs of being handled, taken from a scrapbook with tears on the backs, or tape residue inside or back.
