Walnut hardwood flooring

I'll be tackling a big floor refinishing project very soon. But before I rent the sander and get started, I am testing several Minwax stain colors.

Duraseal stain on white oak. Top to Bottom: Nutmeg, Provincial, Special Walnut, Jacobean. I chose Provincial because it's a nice medium brown with cool undertones (less gold and red). Hope this helps others make this tough choice!

Out with the orange color was easy but getting this lighter and blondish color in RedOak took many tries. Hope this will save your time - 5:1 Driftwood/Simply White (both from Minwax & only one coat of the mix); Top coat is Bona Mega One Extra Matte
