This is a photo of a zebra finch, one of my favourite birds at the Bloedel Conservatory. It has a friendly disposition and is photogenic. This one was calmly perched for some time while I was photographing it from just a few feet away. The photo was taken in January 2011, with my trusty Olympus digital camera. Enjoy.
