Asparagus Soup - English asparagus appears in the shop in May, at a fairly high price. Imported asparagus, although not the same quality, is cheaper.
Milatos Cave - Milatos Cave, also known as Rapas cave, is located 3km northeast of Milatos at an altitude of 155m. In order to reach the cave, the visitor should drive 2.5km east of Milatos (following the road sings) and then walk in the uphill footpath that leads to the cave entrance (10-15 minutes walking). Cave is easily accessible, is open to visitors, but torches are necessary for those who want to see the darker points of the cave.

Getting a Tax Number on Crete - To get Tax Numbers you have to go to the local tax office, fill in a form, produce passports, and you get tax numbers issued, its that easy. Well it should be. You just know something is going to go wrong!!!! So off we trot to the local tax office. Lassithi Plateau - Got up on the morning of 11th Feb 2009, had no power as there was ongoing work, which needed the power switched off, so what do we do today, the power was going to be off until 4.30pm. Lets explore the island, we got the map out and looked to see where we could go, right lets go up and see this plateau. So got our breakfast, and got warm clothes on and off we set in the car, need to head to Mohos. Got on the road to Mohos, up the hill, into the mountains, what a view!!!!

Mulhouse to Piacenza - Got up, and had an other full continental breakfast, had a long journey ahead of us right through Switzerland and into Italy. The journey out of France was really straight forward.

Vasto to Bari - Up early and ready for the next leg of the journey to Bari port, to catch our ferry to Patras in Greece. We rush our way down the motorway to Bari, in the hope to get a ferry today, and to get to Greece tomorrow.

Middlesbrough to Crete - It all came about last July when, we got bored with staying in Middlesbrough, and decided to move somewhere else to stay, what we knew was we both wanted to move abroad to stay, and we decided on Greece, one of the islands to be more specific. But we didn't know which on would we go to Kos, Rhodes or Crete.
