I wore socks like this minus the dork bow on my wedding day! I couldn't get my feet in my wedding shoes so I had to wear tennis shoes. Of course I went and found the girliest glitteryest pair of shoes they made in my size. Then the laces were burgundy lace and these socks. It was a hot mess is what it was. I wore them the entire time on our honeymoon in WDW but haven't since. I think I will get our wedding box down and wear them for our vow renewal and 2nd honeymoon too. Fun fun!

Here are those frilly socks you wore to birthday parties. Wore these socks to church in nice weather when tights weren't necessary.

The cassette player, also known as audio tape, was one of my favorite sound recording devices. My first experience with a cassette player was during the early 1970's while working on a childhood homework assignment. I was quite fascinated with its appearance. A second time was during my employment at a major insurance company as a Dictaphone operator, in which I had to transcribe information from a miniature cassette player, to a claim form.

Remember these and recording songs from the radio by holding it against the boom box speakers? And always wishing the DJ would shut up and quit ruining the beginning of the song? I still have one of these tape recorder.

They always slipped off!

Partington - we played on the square at the bottom of the road all summer and when the sun shone we would roller skate to school.
