This handmade get well card has been designed and made by myself using complementary fabrics and the technique of free motion machine embroidery. The background is a calico fabric which has been washed, dried and ironed to give it a lovely frayed, rustic look. Individual pieces of fabric have then been chosen and cut out by hand to create the flower and leaf before being machine stitched into position.
