The Triumph of Titus: The Flavians by Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema. This painting depicts Titus returning to Rome in triumph following his capture of Jerusalem in 70 C.E. His father, Emperor Vespasian, clad in a white toga, leads the procession. Titus comes next, holding the hand of his daughter, Julia, who looks to her uncle Domitian, who succeeded Titus. In the background is the Temple of Jupiter. The menorah from the great temple is seen behind them.
