How to find and read notes on the staff - Beginner Music Theory - Yanick Drums
Learn how to read and find the notes on the staff. The treble clef also know as the G clef is making a circle around the G line. This is where the note G will be placed. Knowing this you now can fill in the other notes. Take a look at the notes in the spaces, together they make the word FACE. This can also help you with finding notes faster. Moving on to the bass clef also know as the F clef. Look how it starts on the line F, also the 2 dots are above and under the line F. Knowing this you now can fill in the other notes. Tip make a few empty staffs and start filling in notes. The only way you gonna get better at this is with repeating and remembering. follow me for more!
an info sheet with music notes on it and the words, connect the piano with the staff
Connect the piano with the staff - Beginner Music Theory - Yanick Drums
Learn how to connect the staff notes with the piano. When we put the treble and bass clef together you get the grand staff. Right in the middle of these two clefs is the note C. Because it's right in the middle it's called middle C. To find middle C on the piano you have to go to the C that is nearest the middle of the piano. Knowing this will help you figure out where all the notes line up on the piano. For example: The notes on the treble clef will be above middle C and all the notes on the bass cleff will be below middle C. Whether you only use one or both clefs you need to draw extra lines to fill in all the notes on the piano. These extra lines are called ledger lines. Follow me for more!
