Greek 19th century Linen, embroidery Rectangular bag. Coarse tabby-woven linen, folded and stitched to form narrow, deep bag. Yellow, cream and beige cord as handle. Faces of bag show conventional plants or trees embroidered with coarse polychrome silks in cross and stem stitches. Cotton browned; a few stains.
