Lincoln, New Hampshire
Franconia Ridge Trail, New Hampshire One of the most memorable hikes I have ever hiked. Hiked Mt. Lafayette, Mt. Lincoln, and Mt. Haystack with my Uncle Greg and Aunt Jola some years ago, and since the passing of my Uncle Greg in 2007, this is often a memory I reflect upon... the beauty of that day. It was clear as can be much like this picture. We stopped at the hut for lemonade. Truly one of the best hikes I have ever been on, and I look forward to hiking it again one day.
Kancamagus Highway is located in New Hampshire. A beautiful, 34-mile highway, connecting the towns of Lincoln and Conway, was first opened in 1959, and serves as one of the most beautiful scenic roads in the United States. Not only does it form a major east/west connecting route through the White Mountain National Forest, but it provides access to dozens of popular hiking trails in the National Forest.
