This bridal costume of the Pindus-mountain Nomads was worn by the Arvanitovlachs (Albanian-Vlachs) called the Karagounides of Epirus. It consists of a white chemise with embroidery at the hem and bib, a black segouni (sleeveless coat) and a woven apron. Additional human hair braids are fastened to the hair, and the headdress consists of a tall cone-shaped hat with a silver band around its base as a diadem.
