Closet of organized madness. I decided that I never wanted to close the beige curtains. When they are open, the room looks and feels bigger. I tried to make it as not-ugly as possible without spending any money. I am still working on it. It's hard to make a functioning closet look contained. I did have to buy the $35 metal rack from IKEA.

ClosetMaid - here's an idea of removing those two large doors and installing a curtain rod above the closet. They leave their bifold doors open 99.9% of the time now and would give them more space in their bedroom at the new house without the worry of the two large doors needing floor space to open every day. Really like this idea! (Just don't forget to paint the closet to match the room!!)
Aloha! I finished the kids' playroom reading nook. It was fun for me to put it together, and it ended up using all different kinds of crafts in the process. :) The READ sign is a play off of Robert Indiana's famous LOVE sign. Also famously replicated in Pottery Barn's Christmas NOEL sign (that retails for $150!!). I'll give more details on that, the curtain, and the beanbags in upcoming posts.
