Anschutz Model 1827 Fortner Bolt Action Biathlon Rifle – Like all the biathlon rifles, this rifle uses .22 LR ammunition and is a straight-pull bolt action. The straight-pull is preferential since contestants shoot without gloves in frigid conditions. This rifle’s carrying sling quickly converts to a shooting sling and back again. Both its front and rear sights are equipped with covers to prevent show accumulating in the sight apertures.
