This Suit of Armor is for Momoyama (1573 to 1615) fighting priests. The Maedate on the helmet repeats the chant of Namu Myoho Renge Kyo, and there are Buddhist Beads slung over the Dou (chest). The helmet is very old and has crossed feathers for a mon on its Fukugaeshi The arms (Kote) have great chain mail and a large robust plate design
