The Shield of Leonidas, Pin
The shield of Leonidas from the battle of Thermopylae in Sparta, Greece. Inspired by the shield we created a pin in handmade brass with the "Λ" (which is the greek letter for "L"eonidas) in brown patina.

The lyre is the most respectable and known of all the musical instruments in ancient Greece and it was closely associated with the worship of God Apollo, Hermes and the nine Muses. Brooch with a decorative round-shaped rosette (rodakas) with floral decoration and an engraved flower, consisting of six leaves and decorative beads. It is inspired by a mycenaean rosette bead.
