In Greek mythology Homonoia (Greek: Ὁμόνοια) was Goddess of Concord, Unanimity, and Oneness of Mind. Her opposite was Eris (Strife). Homonoia was believed to be the daughter of Soter, the Saviour Daimon, and Praxidike, the Goddess of Judicial Punishment and Vengeance. Her siblings were Arete (a goddess personifying Virtue) and Ktesios, minor God of Household. Arete and Homonoia were referred to as the Praxidikai, taking this name after their mother.
THE ERINYES (also called The Furies) were three netherworld goddesses who avenged crimes against the natural order. She is Calypso, the sea nymph, the daughter of the Titan, Atlas. She lived on a beautiful island, so beautiful that even the gods themselves were stunned by it. It was on this island that Odysseus was shipwrecked during his travels and Calypso tended his wounds and fell in love with him, offering him immortal life and love. She kept him on the island for seven years and Odysseus must have made the best of things as they had two children.
