武士の島
A kawanishi n1k of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service is seen outfitting before an interception mission against American bombers. 武士の島
The remarkable pagoda style bridgework of 14 in Japanese battleship Fuso, pictured in 1940. She and sister Yamashiro dated from the dreadnought era and saw little meaningful action until the battle of Surigao Strait in November 1944 since they were too slow: both were sunk in what was the last ever surface action between battleships.
