I found a photo on Pinterest of a Ukrainian Babushka printing textiles and I joked it was me as an old lady. But then I really looked at it and became inspired. The geometry of the circular pattern and the pulling together of separate print blocks to make a whole really fired me up. I made a plan Thursday night, bought materials Friday (including tools for doing math) and spent 20 plus hours over the course of the weekend and today cutting and carving.
