Found on Ethnic Jewelry and Adornment's FB page. "This broad collar was found around the neck of the mummy in the Amarna period tomb KV 55. 18th dynasty, New Kingdom. The necklace is composed of gold pendants, in the form of lotus and poppy, and inlaid plaques. The endings are large golden lotus flowers inlaid with blue paste. The Lotus, a symbol of rebirth, was a very popular decorative motif in all ancient Egyptian periods." Post by FB page Ancient E-Gypt.
