Selecting Text In Photoshop
In Photoshop, when working with text with the Type tool, you can select a word by double-clicking it. Triple-click to select the entire line. Quadruple-click to select the entire paragraph. Click five times to select all the text.
Color Correcting With Curves
When working with a Curves Adjustment layer to color correct an image, you may sometimes inadvertently make the image darker (or lighter). To apply your color correction without affecting the tonal values of the image, set the Curves Adjustment layer's Blending Mode to Color.
How To "Revert" a File In Photoshop
When things go wrong while working with a file, don't worry, sometimes the best option is to simply "revert" the file by selecting Revert from the File menu or you can press f12.This will delete any changes you've made, and bring back your file to the way it was when you first opened it! (or the last time it was saved)
Adjust Multiple Images in Camera Raw
If you’re using Camera Raw, you can adjust several images at once by first selecting the files you want in Adobe Bridge. Then right-click (Mac: Control-clicking) on any of the selected images and choose 'Open in Camera Raw' from the drop-down menu. When the images open up in Camera Raw, click the 'Select All' button found in the upper left side. Any changes you now make to one image will also be applied to all the others.
Ungroup Layers
You probably already know that if you have multiple layers selected and you press Ctrl G (Mac: Command G) you make a group out of those layers, but what you probably didn't know is that you can 'ungroup layers' by selecting a group and pressing Shift Ctrl G (Mac: Shift Command G).
The Image-Processing Machine
To convert multiple images into a different file type, use The Image-Processing Machine. Go to the File menu and choose Scripts >Image Processor... Then Choose the folder that contains the images you want to convert, and choose the location to save the processed images and the destination file format (JPG, PSD, or TIFF). You also have the option to resize the images, or run an action to each image.
