Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress
"Nine O Nine" B-17G-30-BO Flying Fortress s/n 42-31909 323rd Bomb Squadron, 91st Bomb Group, 8th Air Force. Pictured with one of her many crews, she flew 140 combat missions between March 1944 and April 1945. She was returned to the U.S. after the end of hostilities and was, sadly, sent ot the scrappers at Kingman, AZ. She is showing 71 missions.
