Matsumoto Castle 松本城 Matsumoto-jo is a National Treasure of Japan. Built in 1504 by Shimadachi Sadanaga of the Ogasawara clan, it served as a base for various lords until the Meiji Restoration. 'LIMOUSINE' -  Styled by PHILIPPE STARCK with Navel Architecture by PATRICK BANFIELD and built by VAUDREY MILLER YACHT from Auckland New Zealand, this craft is the tender to the equally unusually designed superyacht 'A' (owned by the Russian billionaire Andrei Melnichenko along with his Serbian supermodel wife Aleksandra Nikolic). It has a sumptuous interior with a standing headroom of 1.9 metres and all the hatches are hydraulically powered as is the mast that carries the navigation lights.

Built by New-Zealand based bespoke tender builder Vaudrey Miller, this Open tender to A was styled by Philippe Starck, with naval architecture from Patrick Banfield. My opinion: too much of a good thing!
