St. Kyriaki (born in Nicomedia in 268 - died in Chalcedon on Jul. 7, 289) - Greek martyr who was executed during the Persecutions of Diocletian. Her defiance of pagan authorities and Roman officials made her popular with many converts. Her survival of many tortures and the miracles that accompanied them made her a leading Christian figure. She was beheaded for her faith.
