Living in Phuket for so many years has brought a lot of fun sights, and we should get used to them! But sometimes I still smile (or clench teeth) when I witness one of the following weird or strange things that are now so much part of our daily life. http://www.phuket101.net/2011/08/12-weird-and-fun-things-in-phuket-and.html

Freedom Beach is an anomaly on Phuket island. It is one of the prettiest beach with incredibly soft white sand and blinding clear blue waters. It is just few minutes away from Patong Beach, the most populated beach in Phuket and yet, it is surprisingly peaceful and quiet… so what is Freedom Beach secret? http://www.phuket101.net/2014/02/freedom-beach.html

Nai Yang Beach seems to be one of those beaches popular with returning travelers... Nice, shaded and full of tiny fun bars and restaurants, it remains relatively unknown, like most of the northern beaches of Phuket which are not along the main road. http://www.phuket101.net/2010/12/nai-yang-beach.html

Ao Sane Beach in Phuket (a small beach in the south that is less touristy but still has food and beach chairs to rent, about a 30 min drive from the hotel. Is supposed to be lovely and even has some snorkeling. The restaurant is supposed to be quite decent)
