Pozzo, Andrea, 1642-1709.  Perspectiva pictorum et architectorum, Andreae Putei. Romae, A. Rubeis, 1723.  The theories and instruction of architect and painter Andrea Pozzo are set down in this text, first published in 1673 with an English translation appearing in 1700.  Pozzo’s treatise was also translated into German and French, with many subsequent Latin-Italian editions as well.
