Digital Media Photography

This picture was taken by placing a broken porcelain piece on a sheet of white drawing paper, in front of large window two meters away, for light. I believe this is a massively effective photo; the curling of the large, thick drawing paper produced dramatic lights and shadows, and the piece is shot at a slightly titled angle, both creating an mysterious, eerie, ethereal presence. The photo could be improved by brightening the light source, to create a deeper contrast between light and shadow.
