Inside is lined with a brightly matching color fabric with interfacing to make it sturdy. Inspired by origami you can make it flat to wash or to store in a drawer and fold it again when you need it. You'll find a photo explaining how to do it, it’s easy but as all origami works needs a little bit of patience. You can help setting folds with a warm iron is needed. The snap in the lap will keep them in place and you can also fasten them with the safety pin provided for extra steadiness.
