This one is so fun in big groups, especially if they're competitive teenagers. 😜To play, just give each kid in the circle a PVC pole (we cut 8ft 3/4" poles in half for field day). The players must keep one hand behind their back and use the other to hold the pole. The volunteer calls out right or left and the players must let go of their current pole and catch the neighboring pole before it drops. If it falls, that player is out and the circle gets smaller. Play continues until there are just two players battling it out for victory. 🥇At field day I didn't want anyone 'out' so we made a re-entry line. When kids were out, they left their pole in the circle and ran to the back of the line. The first player in line then grabbed their pole and joined the game. The goal was to stay in the circle as long as possible. 🙌 I learned this game from my sister @lisamosster 5 years ago and it has been a favorite at mutual, family reunions and class parties ever since.
