Raw Vegan Power Balls Myra Sarikaya Process: 1 cup raw almonds, 1 cup dates, 4 tbsp. raw carob powder, 1 tbsp. mesquite, 1 tbsp. maca, 1 tbsp. acai powder, pinch of ground vanilla, pinch of Himalayan salt. Shape into balls, roll into unsweetened dried coconut. Devour!
Raw-Friendly Vegan Pizza Salad: this simple summer salad captures all that I love about pizza (basil, tomato, mushroom) with none of the dough or cheese: Fresh raw kale, home grown garden fresh lettuce, LOTS of fresh home grown basil, sliced garden fresh roma tomatos, raw white mushrooms, peeled chunked cucumber, some crunchy mixed sprouts, topped with a slightly-warmed raw vegan marinara sauce. I devoured this so intensely that I BARELY even had time to snap a picture before it was gone.
