I collected these rocks in about two minutes yesterday, as I was walking along a favourite stretch of Lake Superior. This beach runs for a mile or more, and is littered with rocks of every colour and size. It is worth a visit, even though it is a little out of the way, just to see these colourful and interesting stones that have been smoothed and polished over the centuries by the waves.
