Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
  • 1 small head of cabbage (Taiwanese cabbage is best)
  • 1.5lbs ground pork
  • 1lb shrimp, chopped finely
  • 2 stalks scallion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger, finely grated
  • 1/4 cup parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp shaoxing wine
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp five spice
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 2 tbsp cup sesame oil
  • Dumpling wrappers
For the dumpling sauce:
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 cloves chopped garlic
  • optional: chili oil
  • Directions: combine all ingredients in a bowl, stir until sugar is dissolved
