This hearty beef stew with red wine, onions, herbs, and garlic has the most flavorful & rich gravy/pan sauce. My secret ingredient is fish sauce. It adds a salty umami taste. This stew recipe is cooked in the oven for a couple of hours, instead of the stovetop. This method is more handsoff and the meat is super tender.
