Calligraphy Masters - Here is another tutorial on how to make your own oblique pen in less than 10mins and budget of not more than 5eu. You will need: the cover of a small tin (f.ex. tuna, beans, tomato pasta, etc. and NO drink cans like beer/soda), a cheap brush, copperplate nibs, a paper knife, small mites and a pair of scissors. Step 2. Take the brush and remove the metal part. Step 3. Make an incision on the brush holder with the knife, as on the picture. Step 4. Take the cover of the tin and cut out a rectangular with the scissors, so that it's the biggest possible on size. Step 5. Fold it in 2. Step 6. Shape it with the mites Step 7. Take the nib and press the tin part on it with the mites, so that it folds on its shape. Step 8. Cut it on a 45 degrees angle, as shown on the photo. Step 9. Take the model and push it to fit in the incision of the brush body. For faster and more reliable results use glue. Step 10. You now have your oblique nib holder ready to go !
