Then you're going to zest half a lemon. That's the fun part. I like that. Then go ahead and squeeze the whole lemon in there. Just go ahead and squeeze it in. Grab that lemony broth mixture and pour it all over your thighs. And then get yourself a smaller mixing bowl because you're about to add one teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, a half a teaspoon of red pepper flakes, a half a teaspoon of paprika, one teaspoon of Italian seasoning and then a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper to taste. Stir that puppy up and go ahead and spread all over your thighs. Season them if you will for the people in the comments. Get yourself six tablespoons of butter. Put them on each chicken thigh in a geometric pattern like this because you're a Virgo. Mince up five cloves of garlic. Put it on top. Grab some asparagus. Rinse it. Cut the ends off and spread it on top. Like so. Then just throw the lid on. Set the crock pot on low for six to eight hours and relax. Okay we're at seven and a half hours. Let's crack this open and take a look. Ooh I mean the asparagus is definitely cooked. Let's see if this just fall. Oh my goodness. Yes. Look at that. Look at that. That is what you want to see. Oh. This chicken is just falling apart. Just like I do every time I hear Neon Moon by Brooks and Dunn. Classic. And we'll get some asparagus. That much. I didn't make this plate look very pretty but that's not the point. Right now we're just trying to taste it. So Let's see how good it is. Crock Pot Lemon Butter Chicken. If it tastes half as good as it smells, I'm in love. Oh it's delicious. The lemon's not overpowering at all if you're worried about that. Uh neither is the garlic. In fact I could probably use more garlic for some of you. Um but it's just it's tender. It's juicy. It's got some flavor. Man. And you probably want to serve it with something more than just the asparagus. Um which I want to see how that is. It's good. I mean the asparagus absorbed a lot of the flavor. So it's delicious. I mean if you don't like asparagus you don't have to add it. It's not necessary. Um if you only kind of like it you might like this better. Uh because of all the flavor. So give it a try. This chicken would be good over anything. Over rice, mashed potatoes. Throw it on a bun. Throw it in your mouth. Do whatever you want with it. If you make it it's yours. I'm just going to eat mine. Orzo is like rice-shaped pasta. On top of that, about two cups of baby spinach leaves. This is going to add some color, add a little bit of nutrients. On top of that, some sun-dried tomatoes with the oil. I love these things. They're super sweet. They add a nice savory notes to any dish really and I'm just going to sprinkle that over everything. And then for the next step we're just going to add a little bit of diced shallots. We can also use red onions here. You could use regular onions if you like. But onions is going to elevate this dish a lot. And then some minced garlic. I'm using it out of this squeeze bottle but you could easily just use freshly minced garlic. And then about two cups of chicken stock and one cup of heavy cream. Mix all that up together. You really want to get underneath the pasta so that it cooks evenly. And then for the next step I'm just going to add some sliced up chicken breast here. I scored the top so that it could cook evenly and then it'll cook all the way through. And if you have a bigger casserole dish here feel free to use more chicken. This is about two pounds. Now in order to season the chicken we're going to do a few things. First off some Italian salad dressing. This is zesty Italian. Any brand will do but this is essential to really adding some acidity to the chicken and then some garlic parmesan seasoning. You can find this where all the gravy is in the grocery store or if you wanted to add some garlic powder and Parmesan cheese, you could do that too. This goes in the oven at 400 degrees for about one hour and then when it comes out, add some grated Parmesan cheese on top. Put it back in the oven just until it's all browned. All we're going to do is take it out, slice it into half pieces because this is basically going to feed six people or if you're really hungry, you could just serve three people. It's a big piece of chicken though. It's about two pounds of chicken. Sprinkle on some lemon juice and then add some chopped basil. This is going to be so good. Great for dinner parties and then you're going to it out and serve it. The bottom is going to be perfectly tender and super soft and the chicken itself is cooked to perfection. Oh my goodness. This looks amazing. Wow. That is just so good and so easy.

You can serve this as is, on top of sourdough, crackers, or even lettuce cups. The ratios below are what worked for me - you can add more or use less of any ingredient to your liking. . Here is how to make it: . 1.First is the sauce. This is as easy as it gets, but can take some time in the oven if you are using garlic confit. You can either use 4tbsp roasted garlic or 4-5 tbsp garlic confit. If making confit, you can add 1/3 to 1/2 cup garlic cloves to a small ramekin, fill to the top with olive oil, cover it, and put it in the oven at 275F for 2 hours. Remove, and let cool before using. . 2.Now that we have the garlic situation sorted out, let’s make the sauce. In a food processor add 4-5 tbsp of just the garlic confit, 4oz feta, 4 tbsp greek yogurt, 2 tbsp mayo, 2 tbsp white vinegar, 1/4 cup water, a generous pinch of salt, lots of fresh cracked black pepper. Process well, taste and adjust. . 3.Then, the salad. First, finely chop 6-8oz of raw broccoli and add it to a mixing bowl. . 4.Finely dice 2 baked chicken brsts (you can use thighs or rotisserie chicken here, too). Add it to the same bowl. . 5.Finely dice 1 red onion, add it to a smaller bowl, top with cold water, and mix a couple times over 5-10 minutes. Submerging them in cold water takes away that intense, sharp bite from the raw onion. After its soaked for a few minutes, strain and add to the same bowl as broccoli and chicken. . 6.Add as much sauce to the bowl as you want, toss everything together, give it a taste and adjust as you like. Then top with some more crumbled feta, some chili flakes, or any other topping you like. . These are the secrets to the juiciest chicken breasts you’ve ever had: BAKING SODA, COOKING WITH LID ON, AND LETTING IT REST - these are practically dripping with juice and they’re so good . Ingredients 3 chicken breasts 1 tbsp avo or olive oil 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon oregano 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon smoked paprika 2 tablespoons plain yogurt Juice of 1/2 lemon Salt & pepper to taste . Here is how I made it: 1.Add 3 chicken brsts to a bowl and season with a generous pinch of salt and black pepper, 1 teaspoon of oregano, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika, and 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda to soften up the fibers. Add 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt, the juice of half a lemon, and mix very well. . 2.Let chicken marinate for 30 minutes (outside of the fridge). By not using cold chicken, it help cook the chicken evenly. . 3.Bring a pan to medium heat. Once hot, place the marinated chicken in the pan. Cover the pan with a lid and cook for 3 minutes. This method will trap the moisture, making the chicken juicier. . 4.After 3 minutes, flip the chicken. Cover again, reduce heat to MEDIUM-LOW, and let them cook for another 7-8 minutes. If you used cold chicken, or if your pan wasn’t hot enough, or if your chicken was too thick, this may require more time (and not be juicy, so follow the directions and ultimately, the chicken is done when its internal temperature reaches 165°F). . 5. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the pan and place on a cutting board or a plate. Let rest for 5 minutes. Resting allows the juices to redistribute throughout the chicken, making it more tender and juicy.   6.After resting, slice the chicken breasts against the grain and serve. They should be exceptionally juicy and flavorful! . You can serve this however way you wish – with your favorite veggies, salad, or with rice, quinoa, or if you’re lowcarb/keto my @kaizenfoodco lowcarb rice. .
