New Every Morning
Press into the heart of Christ. We can spend our days denying Him—even ignoring Him—and He will still be there waiting with open arms. He wants to help you, friend. He does long to save you—but that’s only the beginning. Press into Jesus. He alone will help you to press on. For the rest of your life. For all of your days.
Selfless people look up and out. Courageous people are pursuing opportunities in which they can extend a glimpse of God’s glory. Humble people are searching for those who need to be built up and not torn down. Servant people are making it a priority to put someone else’s needs above their very own. It only takes two seconds to shift our gaze from down to up. From in—to out. And what a difference it could make. For both of you.
God so wants for us to know and be confident regarding how He really feels about us. To never forget the riches and fullness of His glory which is alive and well no matter how hard the enemy and our culture try to tell us different. God wants us to never reject His promises. To remember each and every day of our lives just how good and fair and kind our loving and gracious Savior truly is.
Welcome to Thursday and all it’s imperfections. Enjoy the day and all the imperfect people you will pass by along the way. Make memories, invest, serve and go into every imperfect situation knowing that He who is perfect will go before imperfect you to somehow make a way. Show the way. Pave the way. Help you enjoy the ride along the way.
If the enemy of your soul can get you to do anything today, it would be to get you to doubt who/what you are. Question who Jesus is. Satan wants us to wrestle [struggle] with where we are and/or what’s going on in our worlds. Not so much the big picture—but each one of our own personal canvases that has God’s signature on it.
He is with you during the biggest moments of your life—down to the mundane of daily life. Whether we are praising or pouting. When good things are happening and when life seems to be falling right into place OR when bad things are happening and things seem to be falling apart. Jesus is right there—He’s in the midst of it all.
Repent while there’s still time. Love while you still can. Give till there’s nothing left. Serve with all you’ve got. Go while you’re still able. Share all that you have. Follow hard after God. Live with no regrets. Time is of the essence. If we only have today, there’s still time. Don’t miss this time.
