Trouser organization in a closet With pressed shirts, jackets, and dresses taking up most of the hanging space, this clever wall-mounted trouser rack fits snugly on the depth of the side wall and provides 10 spots to hang dress pants. Plus, the rods swivel, making it easy to grab just one pair of pants at a time.
DIY Tip of the Day: A Second Hand for Long Cuts. Here’s a safe way to make long cuts with a circular saw on plywood clamped to a worktable. Cut a foot into the plywood, then twist a piece of duct tape into a bow tie, with up-and-down adhesive faces. Slide it in the saw kerf and press the tape down above and under the plywood. Now the trailing end can’t curl down. Hats off to Mike Connelly for simplifying this job.
