Psychedelic Rock N Roll of the late 1960's - early 1970's
The Beach Boys – Pet Sounds (1966): Brian Wilson made this album with only a little help from the band on vocals. Although widely acclaimed by music critics (2nd on Rolling Stones’ 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and 3rd on VH1’s 100 Greatest Albums), the fans were not very impressed when it was released. My favorite tracks: Wouldn’t It Be Nice*I’m Waiting For The Day*Sloop John B*I Know There’s An Answer*Here Today*Caroline No. I enjoyed it on new vinyl today, 7/2/2015. Rating: 91%.
