A few notes about protein by @maxnottfit A good amount of foods have protein in them but the crucial aspect in achieving your optimal intake is in consuming foods with especially high amounts of it but with lower amounts of other macros For example lean chicken usually has somewhere around 20g of protein per 3-4 oz typically with no carbs and very little fat... Almonds are also somewhat high in protein. BUT would I substitute chicken in my meal with almonds because of that reason? Probably not
