Studio Weave's coloured decking timber is laid in a herringbone pattern, a nod to London-based Studio Weave's name and London College of Fashion (LCF)'s roots.

Studio Weave adds colourful decking to LCF roof garden

The rooftop at London College of Fashion, part of the original design for the central London building, has been transformed by architecture practice Studio Weave. The space is an homage to textiles and concrete. Conceived as an outdoor space for.

The site, a 45° parallelogram, is subdivided into two separate spaces to help accommodate different kinds of user groups (dogs & children, young & old, quiet & loud, bikes & strollers). One space opens generously to the sidewalk, while the other is more protected and intimate. The required 3’ setback from adjacent parking spaces is exploited to provide seating on both the interior and exterior of the extra-deep benches. #urbanfurniture #mobiliariourbano
