Daphni Monastery - Greece  This monastery was built in 11th century and has beautiful mosaics within the interior walls. Daphni Monastery happens to lay on a fault line and was damaged in the 1999 earthquake. Some research shows that it may have reopened for showings two days of the week - but this must be confirmed.
